Buxton to Priscilla Buxton, from Weymouth, about the end of the election and the widespread support he had amassed, which had deeply touched him. He adds that he now sees that it would have been impossible for him to have been defeated, and wishes his sons could be with him to join in the celebrations. (Copy.) (Memoir, p. 300.)
