(fols. 387-388) reports railway discussions with Jones, who is 'unquestionably double dealing'
(fols. 390-394) discussions with [Alexander] Miller about railway matters and building Company steamers to be prepared for taking on the business; also with John Holt about high Company freight rates and alleged profits; comments on Elder's working the Volta River despite the transport service being in hands of Miller Ltd. Several enclosures mentioned, of which only a copy of Company letters to Elders (fol. 389) about adhering to the 1907 contract is present.
