Biographical / Historical

Maj. G.R.A. Pickford, TD, son of a farmer. Educated at Daunsey's school. Served in the ranks, 1943-1945; obtained a commission in the Wiltshire Regiment, 1945; and served with the Royal West African Frontier Force (RWAFF), 1946-1947.
