Brig. D.D. O'Brien. Educated at medical school. Obtained a commission in the Royal Army Medical Corps; served in Egypt, 1952, and Kenya, 1953. Served with the Royal West African Frontier Force (RWAFF) and Royal Nigerian Army, 1958-1961.
