Biographical / Historical

F. Jaekel, OBE, born 1913, son of an Estonian engineer. Educated at Engineering College and became an engineer in the Colonial Service. Served with the Royal West African Frontier Force (RWAFF), 1941-1942; returned to the Colonial Service as an engineer on Nigerian Railways, 1942.
