Biographical / Historical

Lt.-Col. F.H.G. Higgins, son of an Army officer. Educated at Eton College. Obtained a commission in the Ox and Bucks Light Infantry, 1934, and served with the Royal West African Frontier Force (RWAFF), 1935-1949.

2 Nigerian Regiment, Nigeria, Kenya, Abyssinia (Ethiopia), Somaliland, and Gold Coast (Ghana), 1939-1942; 14 Nigerian Regiment, Lagos, 1942-1943; Staff, Nigeria, 1947-1949.
