Biographical / Historical

Col. J.F. Armstrong, MBE, born 1900, son of a Vice-Admiral. Educated at Cheltenham College, and Sandhurst. Obtained a commission with Royal Scots Fusiliers; served with 3 Nigerian Regiment, 1923-1929.
