Correspondence and notes, chiefly concerning the preparation and publication of the Uganda Development Plan by Worthington and his appointment as an extraordinary member of the Legislative Council for the debate on the Plan. Correspondents include Lattin, Sir John Hall, Governor, and Sir Andrew Cohen, Colonial Office, as well as other Uganda Government officials. There are cuttings from East Africa and Rhodesia and African World about the Plan, and two copies of an address by Worthington to a Rotary meeting on 16 May 1947. Correspondents on other subjects are G.H Nutting (on development in East Africa), and C.Y. Carstairs, Colonial Office, concerning the appointment of architects to design the Fisheries Research Institute at Jinja. 153 leaves and three items.
