The Mission was led by E.F.L. Wood, MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies (later Lord Halifax), who was accompanied by W. Ormsby-Gore, MP, and R.A. Wiseman. The papers are contained in a Colonial Office folder labelled by Wiseman 'General (Itinerary, personal)'.
