. He suspects the government will have already heard this information from other quarters and made up its mind on what to do. He thanks him for having directed that the proofs of the papers relevant to the Niger Expedition moved for by Parliament should be sent to him, asking for suggestions for any of his letters that he thought should be included. He had received the book into which his letters had been copied and would communicate with him again in a few days' time. (Copy.)
