She thanks her for obtaining a portrait of Buxton, offers to pay the carriage, and asks for the address of the Misses Glover who were to send her calico to make up into useful things for their pupils. She ends by mentioning a number of points they had previously discussed concerning education in Africa, reporting on the well-being of her children and sending her remembrances to Sir Fowell and Lady Buxton.
