He mentions an interesting paper about West Indian immigration, which he was sending her. He announces their intention to return home, calling at Halesworth on the way, and describes how he had been received by the Prince, who was eager for the continuance of the Friend of Africa. He recounts the story of Nixon's adventures in an ante-room of the castle while he had been with the Prince, how he had been mistaken for one of the tradesmen and asked whether he had 'the Box' with him, and almost thrust into the Queen's presence.
