Stokes to Buxton, reporting that he had seen in a letter to Jamieson that the 'Wilberforce', under the command of Lieutenant Webb, had gone up the Niger to the model farm, carrying Dr Hinsman as surgeon from the Fernando Po Establishment, two white engineers, and a carpenter, the rest of the crew being Black, 3 Sep 1842
