He agrees that a Secretary for the Society must be a churchman but not that he should be precluded from connection with any other society. He reports that his health had improved and that he was pleased about the King of Prussia and the Lieutenant of Ireland, and thanks him for his account of Bird Allen's departure. (Copy.)
