Buxton to Edward Buxton, about his shooting the previous day at Weybourne, some wine he wished to have sent to Northrepps, and a gift of pointers to Edward, Gurney Hoare, and Joseph John Gurney, 2 Sep 1840
He expresses pleasure at the letters that had come and begs him not to name the boy until he had been consulted as he wished some of the old Buxton names to be revived. He sends his love and thanks to his daughter-in-law for her invaluable gift and comments on the significance of the date of his latest grandson's birth [in relation to the shooting season]. (Copy.)
