He asks if Sir George Stephen might come to the Agricultural dinner on Tuesday because he would be useful and could be very difficult if he thought himself to be slighted in any way. He also asks if he might invite Arthur Kett Barclay, whom he expected to donate £5,000. He inquires whether there was to be Court mourning and whether he should postpone their dimer because there would be a great deal of parliamentary business on Friday 10, it being the last Supply Day.
