Andrew Johnston to Hannah Buxton, about the work he had been doing for the mining boards and the bank and the missionary society meetings, which had been attended by Francis Cunningham and addressed by Rev. Sidney, one of Buxton's shooting friends, 15 Mar 1840
He mentions that Edward had sent them a copy of the book and that he had displayed it and spoken about it at one of the missionary meetings. He reports on the comfortable state of his family, his horses, and the Tract Society meeting at the Dissenting Chapel the previous Wednesday. Finally, he sympathises with Hannah over her recent illness.
