Buxton to Andrew and Priscilla Johnston, about the arrival of their letters and Edward's packet, 31 Dec 1839
He believes their rearrangement of the sections had greatly improved it. Nevertheless, he produces his own revised scheme for their order. He gives Anna's and his decision on the references concerning cotton and admits to having done nothing about the statistics for Cuba and Brazil on his journey to Rome. He promises to send a passage not yet transcribed for inclusion in the preface. (Copy.)
