Notes by Sarah Buxton on the departure of Buxton and his wife from Northrepps after having been with them all winter, May 1839
About their proposal to winter in Europe and their last evening at Northrepps Hall. She records Buxton's present enthusiasm for his work, the arrival of Priscilla and her baby to stay at the Cottage while the two older children were left in the care of their uncle Charles and Richards at the Hall, Priscilla's inflamed foot, and her baby's delicacy.
