Trew's and Stokes's indignation at it and his own unconcern and desire that they should ignore it. He asks Trew to address another circular to the Mico agents in the West Indies about the preparation of suitable missionaries and teachers to send to Africa, remarking that he did not hesitate to place burdens on others in the interest of Africa. He asks him to commission Stokes to obtain Lord Sligo's letter and Mashon's pamphlet for him, and inquires whether he had sent any copies of the former circular to Methodist and Baptist missionaries in the West Indies and whether it would be worthwhile sending copies of his book to them, referring to three letters from the Secretary of the Baptists, a Jamaican and an Antiguan missionary, which he was sending on to him. Finally, he asks whether the Attorney and Solicitor General had any say in deciding about the distribution of the fund from the Ironmongers, adding that, if so, he should send copies of his book to them.
