- A note in Sarah Buxton's hand recording that Buxton and Andrew Johnston left Northrepps for London on that day, 11 Mar 1839
- Buxton to his family, about the suspension of the Anti-Slavery Society that day and his hope to encourage Robert Stokes a place with the Mico Charity. He writes of his intention to dine with Edward that day and Lushington the following day, the dying down of interest in his book in London, and his satisfaction at obtaining the opinion of Amelia Opie on it, 12 Mar 1839.
