Extract transcribed from the Examiner, about the departure of Lord Brougham for Paris on 31 Mar, immediately after delegating to Lord Howick the management of the anti-apprenticeship campaign, on the defeat in the House of the Motion for its abolition, Apr 1838
It reports his letter to the Delegates bidding them to guard his reputation in his absence and warns the anti-slavery cause to take care over the people whose services they employed and their motives. (Copy.)
