Buxton to Priscilla Johnston, about the settlement about to be reached with his partners over the family's interest in the Brewery after his death, giving her permission to do what she liked about disposition of the horses and the servants, 29 Mar 1838
He describes his visit to the Delegates as a very poor concern even though he gave them a piece of his mind, which was little to their liking. He declares his intention to visit the House that night, expecting to be accused of inconsistency although in his own opinion he had been extremely consistent in his motive.
