About Buxton's advice to him to carry on and agitate regardless of the Delegates' treatment of himself and his own views on the matter. He had advised him to induce the Delegates to place greater emphasis on the other matters for which he was agitating, suggesting that, although the ground upon which the agitation was made was injudicious, he should make use of it to show that there was still the desire to serve the interests of Black people.
