Richenda Buxton's account of her father's story of the events at the Anti-Slavery Society, the interview with Sturge and Philip, the Delegates' choice of Sir Eardley Wilmot as their leader, and Buxton's defence of George Stephen against Wilmot in the House some time before, 5 Dec 1837
She records the presentation of the silver at Weymouth, the speeches there, and the reactions of some of his friends at the meetings. Finally, she describes an incident involving the son of John Kenning when Buxton [let him off his debts].
