Thomas Clewes of Yarmouth, Norfolk, to Buxton, congratulating him on obtaining his wish to be out of Parliament, though he did not like to see him turned out, 7 Aug 1837
He also comments on the Irish legislation and their shared attitude towards it, expresses the wish that Buxton would enjoy his shooting in Scotland and offering him a candlestick made of a buck's horn, which he had acquired on his recent tour of Europe, wishing Mrs Buxton as much enjoyment of her tour there.
