John Jeremie to Buxton, about being directed to remain in Britain by the government, their payment of £1,000 indemnity, and his decision to stay in Guernsey until summoned by either the government, Buxton, or Lushington, 22 Jan 1836
He was willing to do anything to heal the breach between George Stephen and Buxton and wholeheartedly approved of all that Buxton had done. He asks him to write to him in Guernsey.
