Stokes to Buxton, about his own and George Stacey's and Josiah Forster's meeting with Stephen, their opinion that he was becoming more belligerent and not amenable to reason, and his own opinion that Stephen was mad since he was determined to call out whoever was in the chair at the time the letters were read out and was more intent on fighting than publishing, 22 Jan 1836
He mentions having summoned a meeting of the committee for the following Tuesday.
