Lord Glenelg to Jeremie, about the conditions in which the latter quit his post in Mauritius, leading him to offer him a post in another territory, 28 Oct 1835
He agrees with Stanley and Spring Rice that Jeremie had acted with a lack of judgement and moderation, quoting a report of his character, which was seen as very favourable in most respects but giving a warning that he must curb his temper. He begs him to accept his offer.
