Stephen Lushington to Buxton, about the letter to Jeremie, his undertaking to review Jeremie's petition to the Colonial Office about the losses he had sustained, and his hope that Buxton would transmit the petition to the Office while he sent a copy of it to Spring Rice, Nov 1835
He urges Buxton not to withdraw from guardianship of Alfred Harbord despite his behaviour, though he was unable to suggest an alternative to sending him to a foreign military school. Finally, he discusses Lord Sligo's and Macaulay's letters and the need for consultation on the Mico Charity.
