He inquires about Priscilla's health and then urges Buxton to consider whether it would be wise, provided his Committee were allowed, to ask for James Stephen's report on the Jamaica Act because he suspected it advised against its sanction. Upon receiving a report of Buxton's action in the House on the Friday, while he was writing, he congratulates him on his achievement.
