Buxton to Lord Suffield, thanking him for Sligo's letter and informing him of Aberdeen's satisfaction with Sligo and his attitude towards education, 25 Mar 1835
He refers to reports of the way Black people were working for wages and the change in the attitude of the Bishop of Barbados towards Anglican missionaries. He mentions the anniversary meeting [of the Anti-Slavery Society?] on 15 May, Peel's weariness in the House, Lord John Russell's impending Motion on the Irish Church, and Lushington's assumption of responsibility for Jeremie's case.
