Priscilla Buxton to Sarah Buxton, about the opinion in London of the missionary work in the West Indies and the hopes raised by the reception accorded the deputation of Buxton and the Baptists to Althorp and Stanley appealing for the rebuilding of the destroyed chapels, 4 Mar 1834
She records the help afforded Buxton at the Colonial Office in his investigations into the treatment of indigenous peoples in colonial territories and Buxton's hope that he could introduce the matter to the House as a non-controversial matter. (Copy.)
