Letters from Buxton to Hannah Gurney, whom he married on 13 May 1807. These letters contain frequent, affectionate messages to other members of the family, her brothers and sisters, and their children, which have not been described. Often, Buxton took two or three days to complete a letter; the date of commencing each letter is given.
