Notes and related material for a book to be written with Joan Wheare and others. An outline chronology compiled by Joan Wheare indicates that this book, undertaken in the early 1940s, was to deal with the constitutional history of East Africa, in particular Kenya, between 1925 and 1933.
- folder 1 (fols. 1-170) chronology and draft study by Joan Wheare of the Kenya Legislative Council, n.d., with comments made by Margery Perham in 1942, and again in Aug 1968, when she reread the material
- folder 2 (fols. 1-68) notes on additional material, arranged alphabetically according to subject matter by Joan Wheare, 1905-c. 1939
- folder 3 (fols. 1-76) notes by Joan Wheare on the Colonial Office and Parliament and their work for the colonies, 1939-1943
- folder 4 (fols. 1-80) notes by Margery Perham compiled for the guidance of Joan Wheare and Martin Wight and commenting on their work, 1944; her note on the original files stated 'Looked at Aug/68. V. Slight value but might skim over much later'.
