Medal (replica of the medal given as part of the Weldon Memorial Prize) commemorating Walter Frank Raphael Weldon, Linacre Professor of Comparative Anatomy, with related letters from EG Milne to Professor Goodrich: the Weldon Memorial Prize was founded in 1907 in memory of Walter Frank Raphael Weldon and still exists today. It consists of a bronze medal and a cash sum which is awarded triennially to the person who, in the judgement of the electors, has, in the six years preceding the award, published the most noteworthy contribution to Biometric Science, 1938

Correspondence relating to the Wytham Survey: the Wytham Survey was part of an ecological programme of international importance run over many years by CS Elton. Its objective was to study animal habitats in such a way that it would be possible to define the nature of animal communities in different habitats, and the ecology of those species that utilise the resources of a range of habitats, 1966-1967 (=Closed).
