A letter (fols. 4-6) from T.A. Joyce, Department of British and Medieval Antiquities at the British Museum, refers to a collection of spears presented by Orde Browne. There are also lists headed 'Identification of Insects' collected by Orde Browne in British East Africa (fols. 1-3) and on Mount Kenya (fols. 36-41).
