Their appropriation to St. Mary’s Abbey by Hugh de Beaulieu, bishop of Carlisle, in 1220; presentation of Christopher Plummer, LL.B, to the former on the death of John Curwen in 1509, and of Thomas de Capell on the death of P. de Botell, in 1279; value of Kirkby Stephen from Compotus rolls, at various times in the fourteenth century and in 1455; endowment of the vicarage.

Copied by Henry Sandwith, who in a note on fol. 305b, written to the person for whom the copies were made, says "I have receaued of Arthur Shippeard for my search iijs. iiijd., my father’s fee for the copies of the deeds being fourteene sheets, ixs. iiijd., and for my paynes ijs. vjd.".
