Numbered as forming pp. 89–180 in some volume, the sermons are as follows:

  1. The first sermon, which is imperfect, was "preacht at St. Mary Wooll Ch. London at ye Dorset-shire feast, June 4, 1661".
  2. The second, "at Dorchester in Dorset at ye Assizes, Sir Jo. Rogers being sherriffe," and at Peterborough cathedral, 23 Aug. 1668.
  3. The third "at Wareham in Dorset May 8, 1661, at the funeral of Mr. William Wake, rector of Trinity church there".
  4. The fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh (on Acts i. 8) at Peterborough cathedral 28 July, 4, 11 and 16 (sic) Aug. 1667.
  5. With the conclusion of a sermon in the same cathedral on 23 Aug. 1668, the writer having been told by the bishop that two persons who had committed incest and afterwards married were then to do penance.

It is ascertained from these data of the writer’s being a Dorsetshire man and canon of Peterborough that he is to be identified with William Zouch, canon of Peterborough from 1646 to 1679 (in which year he died) and rector of Spettisbury, Dorset.
