From this MS., which has a few marginal notes in archbishop Sancroft’s hand, the copy was made for Sancroft which is now in MS. Tanner CCLXXVIII, from which and from Harl. MS. 6400 the printed editions of the Life have hitherto been taken.

In MS. Rawl. C. 922 there are other papers by, and relating to, Bedell and Clogie (including the bishop’s answer to Alabaster, noticed on p. 1 of Mr. T. Wharton Jones’ pref. to the Life printed for the Camden Soc. ut infra), which were also in Sancroft’s possession and were copied for him.
