The rough copy, a transcript of Chambers’ original MS., with additions and corrections which are embodied in the copy presented to James I. It contains only the earlier portion of the treatise, ending imperfectly in the beginning of the second chapter, which in the royal copy is at fol. 82, while the whole treatise consists of 230 fols.
