Hearne had intended to prefix this minute and lengthy narrative to Sir R. Wynne’s account of the Spanish journey, which he printed pp. 297–341 of Hist. Ric. II, 1729; but at p. xxxvi of the preface to that book he has given his reason for omitting it, being informed that the history of the journey was about to be written from authentic documents.
