A two-handled pot of bell-metal found in a brook in Suffolk, [c. 1698]
Found about the year 1698. It bears a Hebrew inscription which records its being a gift of Joseph ben Yehiel, a Jew of Colchester (probably about the middle of the thirteenth century), for some purposes of religious ablution.
