A blank leaf is prefixed with an engraved border containing representations of the seven cardinal virtues.
From a careful manuscript description of the interesting contents, drawn up in 1882 by the late Mrs. Foulkes, wife of the late Rev. E. S. Foulkes, B. D., which is inserted at the beginning of the volume, the following descriptions are chiefly taken.
