Six volumes of transcripts of documents from the episcopal registers of Lincoln and other sources: Vol. VI, early 18th century
Referring to Impropriations, Collegiate Churches (with documents relating to Middleham), Parish Churches, Churchyards, Altars, Oratories, Reconciliation of Churches, and Chapels.
The extracts are pasted on portions of vols. vi and vii of the edition of St. Augustine’s Opera printed at Basle in 1569.
A few extracts of later dates are included, e.g.
- (fol. 146) i. "An order to be observed in making of rates for church reparations, set down by the doctors of law in the dining room of the Doctors’ Commons".
- (fols. 178, 179) ii. Memoranda about select vestries at Edmonton and Enfield, Middlesex, 1699.
