Six volumes of transcripts of documents from the episcopal registers of Lincoln and other sources: Vol. III, early 18th century
At fol. 41 is inserted a copy of the order of commissioners ejecting Philip Scarlet from the rectory of North Creake, Norfolk, to which the King has presented Samuel Pancke; 13 Dec. 1660.
And at fol. 42 certificates of the declaration made by James Mead, D.D., on admission to the vicarage of Woking, Surrey, 29 July, 1665.
The copies are roughly pasted on the leaves of a MS. volume containing the depositions and proceedings in a suit between Thomas Byle the younger, and William Byle, respecting two wills, one nuncupative and the other written, of Lionell Byle, late of Liskeard, Cornwall, in the year 1656.
