The following are the chief contents:—

  1. (fol. 29) i. Short account of Mahomet.
  2. (fols. 31-35) ii. Account of the caliph Almanzor.
  3. (fols. 36, 41) iii. Notes from sermons by bishop Jeremy Taylor in 1661.
  4. (fol. 43) iv. "Out of Mr. Stillingfleet’s sermon before the Parliament after the dreadfull fire in London, 1666".
  5. (fol. 49) v. "Part of a sermon [on St. John v. 14] preached by Dr. Cotton".

On the outside of the parchment cover is this note, which refers only to a part of the contents: "Annotata quaedam ex Augustino aliisque Patribus".

On fol. 55b this note: "Simon Leach, Gualteri militis filius et haeres, obiit desideratissimus Junii 22, 1660".
