Affixed to fol. 3 is this note by Dr. T. Smith: "Dr. Fitzwilliams’ collections made use of in his two discourses, English and Latin, about the unlawfullnes of taking the new oaths, with historical notices about the rights of sovereigne princes".
The miscellaneous papers are found in fols. 1, 4, 96, 110, 188, 198-214, 213-218, 220, 223-4, 226, 244, 260, 262 and 275, are described separately.
