"An index of the names [with dates] of persons interred in [various places]", 18th century
By Dr. Rawlinson. The places are: "the parish churches of the county of Berks [from Ashmole’s History], Eton and Winchester colleges, the cathedrals of Rochester, Chichester, Lichfield, Worcester, Canterbury, Bath, Winchester, Sarum, Hereford, Gloucester, Bristol, and the several churches and college chappells in the city and university of Oxford".
The latest dates are 1747, at St. Peter’s in the East and at Magdalen college, and 1748 at St. John’s college. The epitaphs in the chapels of Oriel, Queen’s, Lincoln, Pembroke, and Worcester colleges are not included.
