Thirteen are described as having been "found among Mrs. Hough’s peices, and giv’n me by my mother, lady Rawlinson", one as "the gift of madam Honour, now Mrs. Cowslade, my aunt and godmother, when I was a child", one as "giv’n me by Mrs. Mary Mansfeld when a child", one as "the gift of my aunt Leven to me when a child", and one as "amongst some old things of my father, Sir Thomas Rawlinson".
